Printing

Setting up a Printer in Linux

Running Linux as your main OS you will want to be able to print. To print in Linux we need to install software called CUPS (Common Unix Printing System) and configure it. CUPS has made installing and being able to print within Linux a lot simpler. Most times we will be using a printer on our network. Read the tutorials linked below and watch the demo video to learn how to configure CUPS and add a printer.

I know that we are running MX Linux as a virtual machine, so you probably do not need to install a printer in your VM. Though, it is possible, so give it a try to see if you can successfully configure CUPS in MX Linux.
